My Roaccutane Skincare Routine - Niamh O'Reilly I have purchased products to use as my new skincare regime. I found a lot of the products I was using beforehand were too harsh to use now. This is the part of the regime I am willing to buy good products as I am using them on my face and I want to help the process as much as possible. Firstly, I bought a new oil cleanser for taking off makeup in the evenings or just general cleansing in the morning. I chose the Avene XeraCalm Lipid-Replenishing Cleansing Oil. It was €19.50 in my local chemist. I decided to go for an oil cleanser as I don’t like milk cleansers. My face always feels cleaner after an oil based one.
I bought was a face moisturiser. I stuck with the Avene range, and chose their Rich Hydrance face cream. It was €15.99. This product is very small in size for the price, 40ml. I do find it very nice and soothing on the skin. Next up, I picked the Avene Very High Protection SPF 50 mineral fluid. I put this on after my moisturiser, before my make up. It was €13 for 40ml.
I then picked up a moisturiser for my body. I chose a La Roche Posay Anti-Irritation lipid replenishing balm. It’s a very thick moisturiser, which I always look for. It doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy. Lastly, I picked up this product as I am a fake tan fanatic and sadly came to the realization that I wouldn’t be able to use it anymore. The chemist recommended I try this Palmers Natural Bronze Self tanning moisturiser. It’s made from natural products and cocoa butter so it won’t cling to dry skin.
